Stephen’s vast and varied experience includes all areas of civil litigation, personal injury, contract law, family law and service as a NFL Member Contract Adviser. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from The State University of New York at Albany in 1989 and a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier College School of Law in 1992.
During law school, Stephen clerked for a Wall Street law firm and several law firms in Los Angeles.
Initially licensed in California in 1992, Stephen was an associate attorney with Berger & Stolar of Beverly Hills, Stoll, Nussbaum and Polakov of Los Angeles, Reff & Aderonmu of North Hollywood and Klein, Testan & Brundo, LLC of Tustin, CA.
He is currently licensed in Texas, California and Colorado.
In 1999, Stephen moved his family to Austin, Texas to start his own law firm where he focused his practice on asbestos litigation, business & contract law, construction litigation, Deceptive Trade Practice Act Claims and estate planning.
Since 2008, Stephen has focused his practice on family law and asset recovery and he lives in Lakeway with his wife Jessica and his three children.
Courtney Pardue is the newest attorney to join the Putonti Law firm. Courtney earned her bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of North Texas in 2009. During that time she was actively involved in the development and growth of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity International.
She also enjoyed volunteering with the Special Olympics and the local therapeutic horsemanship programs. Courtney continued her education at Texas Tech University School of Law and her involvement with both Phi Alpha Delta and therapeutic horsemanship.
After earning her law degree from Texas Tech University in 2012, Courtney began contracting in the oil and gas industry as an independent landman. In the course of her work, she completed thorough title research and compiled detailed mineral and land ownership reports for her clients. While working independently, Courtney also became a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with CASA of the South Plains to cultivate her passion of volunteering with families and children.
As a family lawyer with the Putonti Law Firm, she is eager to use her prior experience and skills to show compassion toward clients and provide diligent solutions to their legal needs by lending a listening ear and being an avid problem solver.
In her spare time, Courtney loves to run obstacle course races with her friends and camp with her German Shepherds.
Rosson Richardson is the Chief Operating Officer of PLF Management, PC and the Director of Operations of Putonti Law Firm, LLLP. Rosson is the Founder and President of Surgical Strike, LLC, a petroleum land services company and has served as Chief Operating Officer and VP of Business Development for several financial firms. In addition to his executive roles, Rosson has owned and operated several companies ranging from surgical distributorships to off-shore charter fishing businesses. Rosson attended the University of North Carolina, Loyola University Chicago and American Military University. He is passionate about hunting and fishing. Rosson has a wonderful daughter and two crazy Boykin Spaniels that occupy most of his free time.
Rosson’s role in Putonti Law Firm is to manage all aspects of the firms operations.
Leigh has been working in the legal community as a paralegal since 2001. She helps our clients understand the requirements of their case and organize their information so that effective and efficient legal representation can occur. As a paralegal, Leigh conducts legal and factual research, organizes client’s information, drafts legal documents, and manages the progress of the case for timely and efficient disposition. She understands and appreciates our client’s needs, concerns and goals.
Client communication and participation in their case is vital and often determines the outcome of the matter. As an experienced paralegal, Leigh knows and appreciates the client’s need to move their case along in a timely and efficient manner and the need to cooperate with the law firm to provide the most current and accurate information.
Any questions, concerns or updates concerning the status of the client’s case should be directed to Leigh to allow the attorney to focus on the legal issues involved in the client’s matter.
